Kids from the Block

Created by the residents of the Flemington and North Melbourne estates, with support from friends from the wider community

As part of the broader work we are doing to support residents of the North Melbourne and Flemington flats, Changemakers Collective is working as part of the dream team behind Kids From The Block - a community-driven initiative to bring innovative and culturally responsive education programs to young people living in the flats.

Kids From The Block is currently collaborating with two existing initiatives to offer VCE tutoring and madrasah classes to young people from the flats.

In addition, Changemakers Collective will be rolling out the Lockdown Legends range of education and wellbeing initiatives for young people ages 11 to 15, beginning in August.
